David Returns to China for Treatment

2008-07-03 1 0 Vimeo

David Aldrich fell off a boat into shallow water. He suffered a spinal cord injury in the fall. Then he floated face-down in the water unable to breathe. Through his recovery David would eventually "die" eight times. He lost his vision as well. Death couldn't hold him. David kept coming back. In 2006 David reversed a DNR order while suffering from appendicitis when he learned his family had arranged for him to travel to China for adult stem cell therapy. During David's first cycle of transplants he made significant improvement including black/white restoration to his vision. After the treatment he pushed his physical therapy regimen hard and saw continued improvements in his condition. In 2008 he traveled to Qingdao China for his second cycle of adult stem cells. This interview was shot near the end of his second round of treatment.
